I think mine would have to be either Strawberry Skyy Lemonade or my "special concoction" of Raspberry Cruzan rum and Mountain Dew.

Shot-wise, I like Rattlesnakes. It's a favorite of my girlfriends and I on nights out!

What's your favorite drink?

A classic Margarita (I'm a purist): 3 parts tequila (Patron Silver by choice), 1 part Cointreau, 1 part fresh-squeezed lime juice, salt, rocks.

Ohhh, that classic Margarita sounds gooD!

I wouldn't say no to a Black Russian or Rusty Nail either.

Or a nice wine with dinner.

Or an Armagnac after dinner.

I'm a wino.
My favorite wine is champagne, though I hardly ever drink it.

I voted wine. Great thing about living in Australia is the amazing wines. My favourite is a big Aussie red. A South Australian Shiraz or Cab Sav. Not a big fan of whites but don't mind a Pinot Grigio or SSB.

Can't stand anything sweet or fruity. In wines or mixed drinks. Gives me a headache almost instantly.

Only mixed drinks I like are homemade Margaritas - not from those syrupy mixes, but fresh lime juice and more on the tart side), and G&Ts with lime, not lemon.

Really like beer too. It gets real hot in summer here in Perth so wines don't suit so much as an ice-cold beer. Weihenstephan in a frosted glass is lovely. Corona is really big here, they fly off the shelves when on special. I like ales - James Squire Amber Ale is one of my favourites.

Mojito---yummy! A great refreshing Summer time drink. (My all-time favorite drink)

I am also partial to a flavored martini - My favorite ones are Chocotini and Pomegrante martini.

Beer, because it compliments the types of cuisine I eat. I don't do wine. Tastes spoiled to me.

But when the cocktail flag is flying, make mine a Long Island Iced tea, and keep 'em coming.

I'm also partial to Cuba Libres. For a postprandial stomach settler, pour me a Grasshopper.

That poll needs a fourth option: "It Depends."

There are times when I enjoy a cocktail (G&T in the summer, Scotch & water in the winter), though never more than one light one at my age. I don't often indulge that way, but once in a while it's nice to celebrate the end of the week on a Friday night with a cocktail.

There are times when a glass of wine, preferably a good dry white or a nice full-bodied red, is the best option. We usually take a bottle of wine to go with picnics before the show at American Players' Theatre, or to the outdoor chamber music concerts on the Capitol Square downtown in the summer. Wine is always a part of celebratory family dinners, and often a nice addition to a fine dinner out.

And then there are those times when nothing but an ice-cold glass of really good beer from one of our many excellent Wisconsin breweries will serve the purpose. That's usually a feature of a BBQ or big outdoor gathering.

So my reply to the question above is "It depends."
