Thumbs up Re the drinking(alcohol) threads..anyone try "red beer"..

I used to work the night shift and have "dinner-breakfast" after work and in Sandpoint Idaho there was a restaurant..Connies (still there) and have a couple red beers and breakfast...

Usually tomato juice and draft like Bud or Coors were the favorites.

Oh, and a little salt on top...

hmmm..where is that tomato juice, and or V-8.

Happy holidays.

HW

I haven't tried this, but do like Bloody Marys, so why not? Is it half beer and half juice? And can I add tabasco?

Usually its about 1/3 juice and 2/3 beer, and of course tabasco can be added for a little kick.

Clamato from a glass container is ok...but the Bud mix in a can is bad.

Fresh is always best....

A college friend of mine always drank "red draws", which were beer, tomato juice and salt. She was addicted to them...even kept beer/tomato juice in her family's fridge so she could have one at any time. Will never forget her for that...she was so funny!! Red Draw may be a regional name? We were in Texas.
