I’m not much of a drinker, but I occasionally like a double shot of Everclear on the rocks with a Gatorade chaser.

Don't imbibe much anymore but I still like a Maker's Mark in a whiskey glass, dropping in 1 little cube at a time as I slowly sip and savor, nice on a chilly night.

Newcastle when I crave a beer.

I'm a beer drinker, and in the summer I pour it over ice and lime... I can drink a ton of it and not get dehydrated and have less of a hangover.

In winter... a good cab or merlot.

Gzhelka Vodka, chilled, straight. Your Russian comrades will think you are nuts if you want ice. And I think they are right.

"Sovietskoye" Champagne, made in Kiev. Delightfully free of burgeoise pretense.

Kinsmanuli Georgian red wine. What, you don't agree with Comrade Stalin?!

Baltica or Obalon beers, particularly the darker ones.

When cut off from the "Motherland", I usually settle for a Cali or Aussie Cab or Cab/Siraz mix, or some sort of microbrew.

Zombies:

1/2 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
1 oz pineapple juice
1 oz orange juice
1/2 oz apricot brandy
1 tsp sugar
2 oz light rum
1 oz dark rum
1 oz lime juice

Blend all ingredients with ice except Bacardi 151 proof rum. Pour into a Collins glass. Float Bacardi 151 proof rum on top. Garnish with a fruit slice, sprig of mint and a cherry.

Mind Erasers:

2 oz vodka
2 oz Kahlua coffee liqueur
2 oz tonic water

Pour vodka, Kahlua, and tonic water into a rocks or old-fashioned glass. Serve with a straw.

Or your basic rum, and diet Coke...
