I had quit drinking a few months ago (about July 2009) and now drink O'Doul's when I go out. I really enjoy it. I just can't drink soda all night and such (too much caffeine). But I don't want to ever be drunk again (never liked the feeling it gave me and the sickness the next day). But I still have a good time.

Have any of you drink O'Doul's or any non-alcohol beverage when you go out sometimes? What do you think of it?

I don't drink much at all anymore (maybe 2 or 3 times per year), but I don't drink non-alcoholic beers. I was a beer drinker when I used to drink, but now I just drink Sprite when I go out.I've actually never even tried an O'Doul's but it just seems like it would feel weird ... kind of like the "e-cigarette" ...

Not if it was the same price as an alcoholic drink.

They're actually a lot cheaper (where I live) than the alcoholic beverages.

Whatever works for you. You don't need others approval and you could be the designated driver to boot.

I drink it occasionally. I like it okay and honestly don't see much difference in the taste of O'douls, or any other NA beer and regular beers. O'Douls is probably my least favorite NA beer. I do like the amber better than the regular.

DH has been drinking non-alcoholic beers for twenty years, since he quit drinking. He keeps O'Douls and Coors NA in the fridge all the time. He also really enjoys some of the imported NA beers. Most all beer companies have a non alcoholic brew now. I think his favorite is Kaliber. I don't remember which company brews it.

It's not any cheaper here than regular beer, and actually it can be more expensive here. But I think that's due to OK's stupid alcohol laws.

If that was all that was offered, maybe.

Yeah, I prefer the Amber flavor too better.

I've never tried it, but I would venture a guess that O'Doul's is probably more satisfying than any of the popular Light beers. Is there an O'Doul's Light?
