What is your favorite brand of bloody mary mix? I love a good bloody mary in the evening and I've been using Tabasco brand but was wondering if anyone else has any others they're partial to. The only brand I don't care for is Mr. and Mrs. T's.

It's so easy why not just start with tomato juice and make the one you really like?

I can't think of a mixer that is as good as what I might concoct.

YUP, homemade is the best, celery salt is the KEY in my opinion.

BUT, on a trip we found "Uncle Dave's Bloody Mary Mix"-I think there is a web site. It is a dry mix that you add to the juice, V-8 is the only way again in my opinion. You can also add it to an individual drink, we steep it in the vodka first, then add the V-8.

But really, V-8, celery salt, worst. sauce, horseradish, lemon and lime juice, salt and pepper and tobasco and Vodka is all you need.

Years ago (almost 20) in Minn., I had the BEST bloody-they garnished with a coctail onion, kosher dill pickel, lemon, lime, and an olive. Go Runyons!

YUMMMMMMMMY

Yeah, I like the celery salt but wouldn't do without the horseradish.

That's why I suggested to make your own, that way it's exactly the way you like it

There's a place on James Island near Charleston, SC called Starfish Grille. They used to be on the pier at Folly Beach, and they make a Bloody Mary mix called "Hot Breeze". You can order it online. It's delicious.

I make my own, and agree that celery salt is key. It's a good thing I live in Chicago where Celery Salt is a staple. If you don't know why, you've never had a real Chicago hot dog. Horseradish is key, too. Next time around, I'm giving Old Bay a shot. Lea and Perrins. Tabasco. etc.

We love to use Clamato juice, little worstershire, celery salt, pepper, tabasco, horseradish-yum. V-8 works well too.

We use Whiskey Willie's at my work and thats pretty tasty. I also like Hog's breath from key west and that Zing Zang also. When I am making my own though I add lots of lemon and lime, olive juice, worstechire, fresh cracked pepper and then I rim with celery salt. I read the Old Bay recipe....YUMMMMMM I forgot about Old Bay and it would be so tasty in my bloody...... I'm adding it now! I also like a little Absolut Peppar with it too..... or maybe a lot of Absolut Peppar
