I am doing some research and would like some honest opinions.

1st. Okay, I want to know...when I say beer what comes to mind?

2nd. When I say wine, what comes to mind?

First thing that comes to mind, in either case is BLECH. Not bleach, but a term indicating that I find the taste disagreeable.

If I had to choose between beer and wine I would drink wine.
Beer - leaves a yucky taste in my mouth.
Wine - can warm me up.

1st. Okay, I want to know...when I say beer what comes to mind?

Hot day, outside, friends, barbeque, frosted glass, amber ale is my favourite, also like Corona with lime, or Asahi Extra Dry.

2nd. When I say wine, what comes to mind?

Big Aussie Reds - Shiraz, Cab Sav, or a blend, great in cooler weather, with pasta, beef, lamb.
