I used to love this drink, but had a bad experience in a restaurant that made me sick and haven't had it since. I was told that the restaurant used a pre-mixed version of this drink. What's in the regular version?

A lot of alchohol. Maybe the sweet and sour mix was off. LI teas can really get you twisted.

Speaking of twisted...has anyone tried the Twisted Teas? You should give it a try. They are quite tasty.

equal parts vodka, gin, white tequila, light rum, and trip sec. Add some sweet & sour mix and cola. Garnish with a lemon.

The premix stuff is pretty cruddy. However, the real stuff will make you sick because of the overwhelming amount of alcohol. Don't even try to order this in a TGI Friday's or Applebees. They'll try to substitute a bunch of mix to make up for the fact that this drink is usually 80% alcohol. Go to a real bar and then call a cab.

I know a guy who had ~7 tumblers of this drink once, this sweet tasty liquid from hades. Was at a street dance during college, his freshman year.
Of course, his ummmm,,, vomit was quite black during the time when his system repelled this fluid later that night/morning. Dangerously wonderful stuff...

Knew a guy who was a bartender and I asked - he said it depends on how drunk you already are. I won't order this drink any time soon.

That used to be my regular sin when I was 20-something and still able to get up the next morning...
HOWEVER, I loathe S&S mix and used to ask (sweetly) for a lessened amount (or better - lemon juice) to be added.

What about tea? Where is the tea? I had no idea there were that many types of alcohol in that little glass! I loved this drink, and now I'm gonna have to avoid it like the plague.

No tea in that drink...

I love em...I never got sick off drinking them either.

You have to watch bartenders because they LOVE to water them down...I have sent them back and told the waiter exactly what the recipe was and pointed out NO WATER on the list...

Whoa! After reading the list of "ingredients" I'm not sure I would expect to live through drinking one!
