I usually take Allegra, however last season it didn't work as well, and I feel like I have to take it religiously for 2 weeks before it really works. Tried Zyrtec last night, may stick with that (if I can get up in the mornings lol). What do you take?

Kroger's generic Zyrtec. Half the price, just as effective. I take it about 2 hrs before bed time and I don't have morning problems.

Aller-tec from Costco. Same ingredients as Zyrtec at a fraction of the cost.

365 pills for less than $15

I use Halotherapy at a local salt room. It has been very effective for my symptoms and I also take my daughter because its very safe. Make sure its Himalayan salt and that they use salt lamps because the lamps release negative ions which help with the sinus inflammation. I am a huge fan! I highly recommend giving it a try and make sure you go more than once before you decide if its for you.

Tavist D, over the counter...it is ONLY an anti~histamine.

Have to look very hard for it. Accept no substitutes.

It also seems to suppress my appetite, ha!

BJ's generic version of Zyrtec. I take one when I have to work more than 4 hours in a shift, because I work in retail and I'm allergic to the plastic bags we put your purchase in. I break out in hives if I don't take the Zyrtec.

I've noticed I'm also allergic to a particular eye-liner that I really really LOVE because it looks so awesome on me. So on days I plan on wearing it, I take the Zyrtec as soon as I get up in the morning. That way the meds are already in effect when I start doing my makeup.

I get stuffy sinuses from the air, but it really isn't bad enough to medicate for. As long as I'm not breaking out in welts all over my body (like with the plastic bags), or my eyes are stinging and watering so badly I can barely see (as in the eye liner), I can manage without. At night, I use breathe-right strips. But I have a deviated septum and end up mouth-breathing and drooling and snoring if I don't wear them, because I can't breathe through my nose -at all- when my face is pressed against my pillow. I swear those things are lifesavers.

I don't suffer from allergies, but when I get a stuffy head, I take some hot peppers, that usually causes extreme runny nose. I blow it all out, then I put some salt, kinda like the netty pot. this prevents and cleanses. I try anything natural before I buy chemicals.
