I suspect I may have a gluten sensitivity of some sort, even though I tested negative for celiac. I have a whole host of chronic symptoms like debilitating fatigue, muscle weakness, IBS, that doctors can't find a cause for. I've had all the tests done and they look at me like I'm crazy and tell me I'm healthy. The ironic thing is that I LOVE anything to do with bread or baked goods, which I suspect could even be related. But for that reason I just can't bring myself to go gluten-free, especially since I don't know for sure that it'll help. I don't have much of an appetite to begin with, I have trouble digesting raw fruit and veg, and I have to force myself to eat meat or fish. Literally, bread, baked goods, and desserts are the only things I crave and truly enjoy eating, everything else is just a chore. I can't imagine living without ever really enjoying food again, not to mention it's super inconvenient. I don't like rice or things made from it, or oatmeal. So I'd probably just end up living off quinoa and gf bread products. I keep thinking I should give it a try just to see if it helps...but the all-or-nothing nature of it just kills me and puts me off. I could never go cold turkey on anything in my life.

It's possible that you have an allergy to wheat. That's different from gluten intolerance. Have you had any allergy testing done?

I resisted too. Try it for a few weeks and see if you feel better. I didn't think it would help me, and I was upset that it actually worked.

I absolutely love bread, pasta, and all things gluten filled. How about you just give up wheat for awhile? There is gluten in lots of different things, but the major source is wheat.

I would totally eat some yummy food with gluten
The sad part is - no human should. It reacts in all of us, sooner or later. Perhaps for hundreds of years, gluten has been causing real damage to humans.

Now, it is happening in children.

I have found options and choices that are far more healthy.

No one has a window to their insides to see and watch the damage that is happening slowly. They find out when they can NO longer tolerate the symptoms. No one should have stomach aches in the massive amounts we are experiencing.

Allergies. Disease. Sickness that have us running to our most trusted pharmacy for the cure -- that doesn't work at all.

Let's see how quickly we begin to suffer from genetically modified food now that are in the mainstream stores and most are unawares. This is DNA finagling. Not just putrid grains eating holes in the linings of our stomachs, etc.

We are the test subjects. Always were.
