You know, the kind where they send you the kit, you prick your finger and send in the blood sample? Or you send in a hair strand ? If so, did you find out anything worthwhile? I never knew there was such a thing, but would like to know what it is in the pollen that I am allergic to, both spring and Fall. If it's Juniper, I will get out my saw and cut them down in my yard. Doubt that would help though since they are all over this area.
Any info you have would help. TIA

Your doctor can order the tests and your insurance will most likely cover them. There are different sets of pollen they test for depending on the part of the country you live in.

Determining allergies from a blood sample? Or a hair strand? I doubt either would be very effective.

Hedgehog_Mom's advice is good. The typical allergy tests, test for numerous of the most common allergens that are common in an area. And insurance, if you have it, usually covers all of the cost of testing. And in my experience insurance covers all of the costs of shots that may be needed to deal with any allergies that are found.
