I'm wondering what symptoms might be from a real person who had it. I know what Internet sites say, but I'd like a first-hand account. Also, what did you do to reverse it?

I started out with fatigue and a foggy brain, and not knowing it was "bad" I would have 2 cups of espresso back to back to help myself "wake up" each day so I could go on with my day, which back then was a very long one. Ah, I also felt unusually hot sometimes. After a few months of that I finally went to a doctor because of a horrid "panic attack" induced by a combination of caffeine, a glass of wine, getting upset with my then teenage children and a nasal decongestant. The tests showed I was hypothyroid, something I'd suspected for years but because of the wrong testing I was told my thyroid was "fine". After that it was all downhill because thyroid meds only made me jittery, anxious and depressed, a consequence of not treating the adrenals first... But I only began to suspect that after being at a thyroid forum for a while and reading other women's accounts of their troubles.
Sleeping became very difficult, also because of my sensitivity to mold, so a pattern of sleeping during the day, and not even at fixed hours, was established and lingers until this day because I have not been able to seek proper help and have only been self-treating in a "hit & miss" fashion while still dealing with stress.
These days my blood pressure tends to be high most of the time, I've regained weight that I'd lost, and have all of the above symptoms plus other ones, I think I have or have had all the ones listed in the most important sites like Dr. Wilson's and Dr. Lam's.
My advice to you is that if you can afford it to find a competent doctor who knows how to treat this and don't do anything silly (like taking unnecessary risks before you're ready, they'll only lead to new "crashes" and worsening of the condition) because if you don't tackle it early on it can become chronic, as in my case.
It's caused by stress, caffeine, tabacco and sugar so avoid/reduce those for sure.
If you can get some Adraset from a naturopath, that works great.
Stress is there. I intake very little caffeine (tea sometimes), don't smoke or chew tobacco, and am not one given to indulge in candy.
I've been told Siberian Ginseng helps. Any experience with that?

No but according to Dr. Oz and friends you should eat 1/4 to 1/2 an avacado per day to boost your adrenals. Personally I think you will need a supplement too.

I used to eat avocados almost every day (until I got sick of them). They didn't seem to do anything overt in terms of health, although I know they're good for you.
Look what I found while looking for the
best water we should drink!!
