A friend of mine tends to be rather naive and also believes in every alternative remedy, without reservation or a single angstrom of critical thought.
She has been spending quite a lot of money on a "wholistic consultant" from a different state, though.
This person has no online presence at all, althout via a search I found out her husband does. Her business card only lists her as "Jenny Lortz, B.K., Wholistic Consultant."
Does the "B.K." suffix have any actual meaning at all? If so I've been unable to figure out what it is. I think it's a made-up acronym to impress naive people. I think my friend is being royally ripped off and just need a bit of ammunition.
I'm not thinking so, though. I just have her business card and it doesn't mention kineseology or any kind of body work. Just herbal, homeopathy, nutrition, other woo diet nonsense.
Thanks guys (although I don't get the Donkey Kong reference...?)
I've come up with zilch trying to find out if "B.K." means anything. In context, I do not believe it does.
I did, however, get the name of someone who does holistic and nutritional counseling from a (local) friend of mine who used this lady and was happy with her. I think my other friend was being somewhat conned by the out-of-state person and I gave her the contact info for the local person. So at least hopefully now she can spend her money locally and meet with a holistic-type counselor face to face.
