I have a parent who who has kidney failure and liver failure, he has heard disease and diabetes. He was not eating and went into symptomatic vomiting and headaches so he was put on dialysis. 3 times a week 3 hours each time. He was hypertension but his blood pressure has dropped to around 90/60 avg. His liver is not processing fluids and it builds up in his Peritoneal cavity. He has 10 to 14 liters drawn off every two weeks. 74 and he looks like stage 4 cancer patient. Drs. will not say how long he has but from what I can get from others its not long. 1 to 6 months. Has anyone else dealt with this situation before? If so what can I expect to have to deal with as a care giver?
