All I can say in regard to stevia being harmful & dangerous, is that I've used it almost daily since 1989 and I'm still kicking at age 58 ( walk 5 miles a day, workout with weights 30 mins a day, rarely ever get so much as a sniffle, never go to a doctor ). Stevia has been around for quite awhile and has an excellent track record in some other countries....but then those countries don't have the FDA to protect them from a harmful & dangerous substance like stevia.
I'm not sure where this belongs (mods, feel free to move it if necessary).
I'm interested in the health benefits of various herbs, and now that I have the room I'm starting to grow a few. I just planted two stevia plants, but have no idea how to use them. Is it the leaves that are used? How? Are they dried? And, then what?
What do I need to do with these stevia plants in order to utilize them? Anyone know?
(Yes, I know...I always do this...when all else fails, ask for directions).
