I'm looking for some new teas to add to my collection. I would love to know what teas are your favorites and what health benefits they cover.
Any good teas for relaxing would be a bonus. Thanks

Well, chamomile is supposed to be the classic tea for relaxation and sleep. Roobios from South Africa tastes delicious and is supposed to have antioxidant properties. I like to make chai tea from regular tea that is decaffeinated. I add cinnamon sticks and tumeric, cardamon, and maybe a small slice of ginger root in cold weather. Let it steep in the pot and then add warm milk and stevia. (I have to use rice or almond milk due to a dairy allergy but with real milk I bet it's even more delicious.) In hot weather I take the chai tea cold with ice.

Yummy!
I didn't even think of mixing own teas. I'll try that, as I try to stay with decaf as well. Thank you. Sounds delicious.

I have a collection of teas I use for cold-brewing:

Green
White
Oolong
Rooibos
Dandelion

Add osmanthus flowers for a sweet smell.

You can even cold brew in mason jars instead of buying the pre-bottled store bought ones. Saves $$$.

I like peppermint and ginger tea when my tummy's upset.

Sleepytime or Nighty Night just before bedtime to help me sleep.

Chamomille for general relaxation.

Green tea for the antioxidants.

Got bunches of others for just sipping...a new fav is fennel...

Such a great video link. I will now brew cold!
thanks so much for the link.
What's funny is I love cold tea but since it was such a hassle I'd often just have hot. This is good news.

Honeybush tea from South Africa. It's smooth, delicate, and naturally sweet. I also love Bhakti Chai toasted coconut almond. It's cold and has a strong ginger kick that wakes me up in the morning.

I have an account with Twinings and order several different kinds-both the stuff with caffeine and without. (I drink the stuff without in the afternoon.) I have a tea box that is full of who knows how many varieties. The problem I have is deciding which one I want. Sometimes what I do is take one of each, close my eyes and mixed them up and pick one. That way I am a bit surprised as to which one I am to have that day.

I also like a few of the Yogi teas.

You want to relax?
Buy some Lemon Balm Herb...found in Valium; approx $10 in Whole Foods.
It comes in a tincture...a dropper should do it.
Try it in a tea, too, or juice!
See if you can find it dried into a tea.

Omgosh, I looked it up it DOES come in a tea...
I'm making it as ice tea ...wow, fun!
