Hi everyone, I joined the site to connect with Torticollis sufferers.
I'm a London based Shiatsu therapist and met my first Torticollis sufferer yesterday and gave her a treatment for her neck and shoulder issues.
She seemed to respond well and gain a benefit (not sure how temporarily). It was a short session and I don't have a way of following up with the client, so I wondered whether anyone here has explored this area?
I am interested to hear from anyone who has tried shiatsu/tui na/acupressure or similar to work with your condition. How many sessions, how quick and long lasting the benefits... Anything relevant to your condition...
Please post below or feel free to email me at Simon@theshiatsuguy.com
If you could please indicate whether you're happy for me to quote your experience and whether you'd like to be anon or not... I am looking to put an information page together for other sufferers but need to have some evidence of sorts that shiatsu and bodywork is a effective approach.
