I have a friend from panama. He says it has it's ups and downs, but it would be an amazing place to retire. It's a slow pace of life from what I hear. I would love to go fishing down there.

That's in and around Panama Viejo. Interesting. Love the background and scenery! Architecture is exquisite!

CR "invaded" so many lands that it is smaller than Panama and has a quarter of the size of Nicaragua!
why are you insisting so much of a century old events? you want an new war in Central America ?

Costa Rica has stolen lands from Nicaragua and Panama up until recently. Costa Rica needs to stop taking other peoples lands.

Definitely have to be careful and aware of your surroundings in Panama, even when fishing or on boats or in the sea. Foreigners privileges can sometimes backfire on them.
