Well, just in the past 20 months, those are the international bands and artists with more than 4 million "likes" on Facebook who made concerts in Fortaleza:

- Jennifer Lopez (31 million "likes")

- Simple Plan (10 million "likes)

- Evanescence (22 million "likes")

- Paul McCartney (5 million "likes" - should be more, since he's an ex-Beattle)

- Beyoncé (56 million "likes")

- David Guetta (49 million "likes")

and now:

- Elton John (4,6 million "likes")

By the way, it's almost certain that Guns N' Roses (27 million "likes") is coming to Fortaleza before the half of this year.

We are definitely in the route of the international concerts now!

Malaman probably works for the Chamber of Commerce lol. Or could also be a virtual puppet for PT- Dilma's political party.

As someone who is Brazilian-American and perhaps has a less biased viewed on this subject. Fortaleza tops Recife but it is not because Fortaleza is a paradise, Recife is for the most part a craphole (Believe me)

Fortaleza is beautiful but it has all the problems of any NE Brazilian city- High crime, poverty, child prostitution, violence, etc.

I would say Natal would be a better choice than both Fortaleza and Recife, but between Recife and Fortaleza, I would say Fortaleza.

Probably one of the things that saves all these cities, is that gorgeous coastline with popular beaches.
