Lima Peru is a pretty cool city actually. Best nightlife in South America outside of Brazil. 24 hours. Huge mix of people, tons of Japanese and every spectrum. I've even met native California looking surfer dudes with blond hair and blue eyes and no English abilities in Lima Peru - they were Peruvian.. It's an international-like city even if it doesn't seem to register as one economically. Plus indigenous and Spanish and a little African-Peruvian even.
I don't speak Spanish, or any other than language, very well so I guess I'd do better in Lima, Ohio. Also I'm guessing Lima, Ohio is more handicap accessible. I think Lima, Peru would be more interesting though.
