I thought Brazilians are much friendlier than Argentinians actually. Argentinians are nice but they don't have the same level of openness as Brazilians do
I find Argentinians very open and don't have much of that machista taboo which I admire.
Ive only been to Central America. Nicaragua is certainly the most under rated. Its relaxing as well, though thieves exist, particularly in parts of Managua particularly the Mercado Oriental. I think people under rate it because of the war there, but that was a long time ago.
Over rated is Costa Rica, more like a first world nation than a Central American country. Lots of retired westerners. Also a lot of Nicaraguans have come over the border looking for work etc, and get the blame for everything, even though its not usually them.
I second this question...both countries are less developed than some other SA countries and much much smaller population wise but some may like that,,,there are countries with higher murder rates than either Guyana or Suriname on the continent...neither place is rated enough to be overrated...why single them out?
