Well--not in the near future at all.

Possibly--down the road. Why?

I was just wondering why you were interested in information about the school. Things there can change quickly. I suggest that before you work there you do your research, especially asking to speak with current expat employees about the school at that point in time. I am not sure if anything I could tell you now would even be relevant should you look for a job there in the years to come.

Thanks for this info.

What did you think about your experience there? Why did you leave after two years? Are you at another international school now?

I had a mixed experience. There were parts of Beit and SP that I loved and others that I wasn't so found of. I was ready to move on the the next adventure in life after two years. Beit like any other school has its challenges. Some people find it more difficult than others. Language can be a huge issue, the majority of the staff does not speak English. If you decide to work there I would work on your Portuguese before you arrive it will make life much easier. The school has been and I suspect will continue to go through big personnel changes, which is why I say that the experience that I had might be very different from what the school looks like in a few years. The school is relatively young and is still going through growing pains trying to work out issue concerning curriculum, behavior management, etc.

Thank you for the information, insight, and details.

Why do you think the school will continue to go through personnel changes? Did you move on to another international school somewhere in the world (you don't have to reveal for obvious reasons)?
