Best places to rent around New York City area (move, cheap, apartments)

Im just wondering where good places are to rent and cheap ones too. Im looking to move to New York but i dont want to spend all my pay on my rent. haha so can anyone please tell me where there is any cheap apartments, studio, one bed room. thankyou!

All of NY including suburbs is expensive but IMO Queens offers the most value for the money.

You can find reasonable places to rent in Queens, Brooklyn, or the Bronx. What's the max you want to spend on rent?
