Which country in Latin America has created the best music? I would say it's a toss up between the Caribbean countries.

Brasil would be the right vote

The caribbean countries and their music all sounds the same to my ear, it is nothing like Brasilian music which have variety

Based on my personal preferences and playlists, I'd say DR, PR (including reggaeton), Brasilian music such as axe, samba, bossa/tropicalia, samba-reggae, funk, cumbia and mariachi.

Not a big fan of tejano and the polka type music. I like music that features drum/percussion and is uptempo.
