Disagree with that statement. Americans have a culture which is different than others.

America has a lot of culture. Even if it's not the type of culture you like, it still counts as culture

American mass culture, American business culture, American political culture, American education and R&D cultures, American fast food culture, American car culture, American dreams and aspirations, way of life in general (no matter what you think of those) conquer(ed) the world. TS is a partial product of the American cultures. Chances are he has more American cultures in him than any other culture (including his own).

I heard a lot of things said about the States, but never that they had no culture. Where do you get the impression, or what has been said to you, to give you this impression?

People who live in rural areas tend to be very cultureless, they are into eating heavy, greasy meals, politically ultra conservative, jingoistic, gullible about affairs that require thinking.

People in urban centers tend to be more balanced with the issues mentioned. There are exceptions.

Most areas in the world tend to be very urban relative to the US; one can thereby possibly classify them as having more culture. However to say that a whole country is cultureless is insane.

Americans have a culture. But after you travel to several countries, you realize it's a bully culture. Hell, even our favorite sport (football) has people ramming into each other at high speed.

I'm moving elsewhere if I can ever afford it.

Diet1, you're pretty misguided. People in cities has no sense of culture. Ask a redneck what their culture is, and they'll tell you about hunting/fishing/farming/God/etc. Ask a white guy in the city about their culture and they'll either talk about rap (cultural assimilation), or metrosexual lifestyle, depending on whether they're upscale or lower class. In either case, people from the city have no clue what culture is their and what belongs to others. Going to an art museum or eating fine food, does not make you cultured, unless that genuinely is your culture. Don't confuse lower class culture with "lack of culture".
