They're not the most racist, they're just socially allowed to be more open about their prejudices. Most people in the US are about equally "racist", it's just that white people can't get away it openly like blacks and some other minorities can due to the culture of political correctness.
Black Americans by far commit the most racist violence, so this is not a shock.

Black people are definitely quick to pull out the race card, and in a lot of their minds, happens only because they are black. Hispanics are next, (which is what I am). I think those who are quick to pull the race card are the racists.

This doesn't make race important. Race is a social construct. the proof of that is the fact that it's different in every society. If it were a real important thing, there would be a fair amount of consistency but there isn't.
The only time that ethnicity (not race) is not important when you are on the top of the food chain, to those of us on the bottom you are reminded of it everyday depending on where you live.

What's ironic about it is that African Americans have almost nothing in common with the Democratic Party when it comes to values and social issues. Blacks tend to be anti-gay marriage, very religious, anti-illegal immigration, etc. Which happens to be the polar opposite of the Liberal Democratic Party and yet Blacks are so loyal to them
Because the republicans vilify black people to shore up the racist factions in their ranks. You are correct blacks as a whole are more conservative than their voting blocks.

That doesn't make it "important" that makes one aware. That doesn't mean it has importance in itself. Also, know your audience before making assumptions about them.
