Thanks for asking this. I'm a veggie as well, and it's always nice to know good places for us.

Regarding the BVI, it depends on what you want. I've stayed in a nice, affordable vacation rental in Virgin Gorda. You can rent a car, get groceries and have the food that you want. It's safe and quiet. Perfect for warmth and relaxation. It's a short ride to a beach, as the island is very small.

Hi Tijlover thank for your input. I actually like the lush green tropical over the dryer brown desert like landscape. I lived in CA for 25 yrs and I'm kind of burnt out on for a while on that water starved desert look and feel For example, I love the short afternoon rains in Hawaii and then having the sun come out after, it keeps it lush, green and fragrant. But I agree it's best to hit those areas during the non-rainy seasons & thanks for that info. This particular trip is more of a working trip where I just want to getaway for a bit, but be able to do some work from a hotel room. I don't have a lot of time to do adventure trekking and be out of range of a WIFI connection. But I like to do those type of trips too, but not on this particular trip. For this trip I just want to find cool laid back tropical place I can chill in and swim in a warm ocean, take some nice hikes, explore a few towns have some good healthy Vegetarian food and get some decent clean safe accommodations with reliable WIFI. Thanks for the tip on Tegucigalpas, Honduras.

Thanks for the input Caribdoll. What did you pay per night for your rental in Virgin Gorda when you were there?
