I was not aware the US media bashed Haiti. that is not something i have seen. what i have seen is the US media make Haiti look like it needs charity from the rest of the world and fell sorry for it. that could be what has left people with a bad impression of Haiti.

Antonio I think you are confusing the term country and Nation. a Nation is a group of people. all nations have good attributes and bad attributes. but a country is not a nation it is the land mass that a nation calls home,

I know what nation means, but I use the two terms interchangeably because to most people it doesn't makes any difference.

well it should make a difference. a person is a person and a group of people is a nation not a land mass.
