Hi!

I spent a considerable time in Chile, more specifically in Santiago in 2013.... and loved the place... Here are some pictures of a country on the verge of a extremely rare milestone: Preparing for 1st world status!

Thank you Mr "Stencil" for some of the pictures!

I will try to show a few districts of the city and also maybe some aerials if I find any.

Starting with basic infrastructure:

BIKE:

BUS:

SUBWAY:

MANY PARKS:

HISTORICAL DOWNTOWN:

CONTEMPORARY:

ETC:

I've heard pretty much all good about Santiago and will be there in 3 weeks for about 10 days and a couple days in Vina...ready to check it out.

Thanks for the pics.

Beautiful OP pics. I especially like #11 (the eleventh one) of the older buildings. I'd love that to be a painting hanging in my room. I especially like the fact that there are no cars on that "street." Sure wish there were no-car zones where I live...
