Willemstad, Curacao - has some real beauty to it, based on photos...

You can view through a google search, but looks like a very colorful Amsterdam architecture transposed to the Caribbean. I think I read that it doesn't take long to get out of that, and the city becomes very ordinary very quickly. But based on the photos, that area looks fantastic!

Are there other similar-sized Caribbean islands with similar-looking main cities? Or is Willemstad a bit unique?

Yes, many of the Caribbean islands are like that. Go to Martinique and Saint Martin etc and Marie Galante and Saint Barthélemy/Saint Bart's

Oh yeah, that city comes up often as well! Kind of a sister city.

My brother and his girlfriend went to Aruba the past weekend. Despite that the airplane back broke down before they took off (they had to spend one extra day in Aruba at the airline expense, I can tell you my brother wasn’t complaining lol), my brother kept telling everybody that they must go to that island. He really liked it over there.
