There are reports of a massive blackout that is affecting several states in Brazil. Apparently many parts of Brazil are suffering one of the worst droughts and most of the electricity is produce by hydro or dams.

I'm trying to find videos of the outage but all I can find are videos of an outage that took place in 2009. If anyone finds a recent video, please share them here.

The following states are suffering outages:

Rio de Janeiro
Sao Paulo
Santa Catarina
Minas Gerais
Rio Grande do Sul

More than half of Brazil's population live in this area.

The São Paulo Metro was affected.
