Machu Picchu is a very well Known site, but what other sites are there in Peru? What about archaeological sites in neighboring countries like Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Argentina or Colombia?

Nabusimake in Colombia is an old, living, breathing Ika village from the Arawak family.

Great pics PF.

The pics of San Agustin are really interesting. I will have to look up more info on this place. Do you know what culture is responsible for building that place? Are there others? That bird with a serpent in its mouth is a really interesting piece.

The pics of Nabusimake are cool too. I rarely hear anything about indigenous people in Colombia. I know Indigenas make up a small percentage of the Colombian population but is there a region where they are concentrated in or are they spread out through out the country?

San Agustin is till now still an unknown culture, it's a UNESCO heritage site if you want to look up the history on the UNESCO site.

3.4% of the Colombian population are practising Indigenous cultures and usually located in the peripheries of the country. By far the largest community are the Wayuu people (Arawakan) of the northern-most Guajira state.

Another Archaeological site are the burial tombs of Tierradentro in the Cauca state...
