Last night I was able to watch the last 45 minutes of Billboard Latin Music Awards and was just wondering if it was the channel I was watching or the production team at the show that totally messed up the audio? It 100% was not my TV because the sound for the commercials was fine. It seems to me that the microphones for the performers and the presenters were not working properly. You could barely hear them. You could hear the music performed, but the singers and presenters were totally drowned out. Thankfully by the time Daddy Yankee and Don Omar were performing it worked a little bit better, but not perfect. Did anyone else watch the show and notice that?
The only large Latin music awards I follow are the Latin Grammys. The only somewhat respectable awarding body for Latin American music. The rest are pretty bad, the Latin Grammys also has it's downs but overall they do OK.
The show was held in Miami .... So I don't know what was up with the micro phones. It is not like big shows like this have never happend there so this issue seems really unprofessional. I did not even know about this show. I just happend to flip to that channel. I hope the audio for the micro phones was not really messed up because there were some really interesting performances. I wonder if the Latin Grammy awards will be in Los Vegas again. I would not mind going there to visit.
