Searching old relatives (best, cost, country, place)

Hi for all,

For behalf of my friend I would like to ask if anyone know where to find more information about Croatian people immigrated to USA in between 1890-1930 ?!

He is making Family Tree and would like also to find out if there are any of his relative or they family's alive !?

This part of the forum would likely not be the best place to post this information. To my understanding most people that immigrate to the USA from Europe usually start off in the Eastern part of the USA. I would start off by posting this request on the New York forum and you might get better ideas from there. I would also suggest considering posting this question in the Europe section as there might be people from the same country that have tried to do similar searches that could advise you.

Also this is a popular website in the USA and Canada to help with these types of searches Ancestry® | Genealogy, Family Trees & Family History Records. There is a cost usually, but I think they have free trial offers.
