How the other Brazilian guy spoke in Brazil there is not a stereotype view. I think a little of envy because the expat can speak very well another language.
I have never heard of this term before "second generation immigrant" where I live in California if you are the child of immigrant parents and you are born in the USA then you are not an immigrant.
Unlike the US, there is a large native population in European countries. For me its win-win. I'm British yet not native English, it also means that various generations continue having a strong affinity to their country of origin. Not like the US where many kids (even 1.5 immigrant kids) can't even speak the language of their parents or grandparents.

I get that I don't consider immigrants to Portugal to be Portuguese people even if they are Portuguese citizens(they don't share our blood and our history) no use in pretending they are the same when they clearly aren't. I'm trying to understand the process in the UK I actually like it better than the process of the USA.

That is relative. Most part of Brazilians share culture, history and blood with Portuguese people, but anyway are foreigner in Portugal.
In the new world we think that a mindset person is created where he raises, grows up, his neighborhood… more than where he borns or parents are from or blood.

That is true Brazilians are considered foreigners in Portugal but they fit in better than most of the other immigrant groups. Cape Verdeans are also viewed more positively then most of the others.
Nepotism is part of the culture where I was born in Portugal, I like that it's to my benefit and my kids if we choose to move back that's just the way it works, if someone has a problem with it don't move there.
