My opinion is that the best government is something with big elements of both capitalism and socialism, with strong government controls that make sure no single individual or entity acquires substantially more wealth or power compared to the average person.

Yes. It is no coincidence that cointries that mix elements of both usually have a higher quality of life and standard of living.

Yes and even then there's room for improvement. As the human race we could, and should be doing a whole lot better than what we've been doing.
