So I've started up several threads regarding this topic and on one of them ( Does turf based violence still occur in the Cali surf scene ? ) someone recommended that I pose my question in this subforum .

So what's the deal with turf based violence among surfers in Colombia ? Is it a serious issue ? Or is it a rare occurrence at best ?

Cali, Colombia doesn´t have a beach. This should be in the California forum.

1. I don't know who advised you but Cali is in the western Andes, there's no coastline and is 2 hours from the southern Pacific coast.

2. Surfing takes place in northern Pacific coast very far from Cali or any main city, there are no roads you can only get there by plane and they're mainly black local kids that surf with the whales. The region is sparsely populated so the idea of a surfer turf war is stupid.
