nice strawman. You don't need to be right wing to know Socialism of XX century is a failure.

A clean intervention? When has that happened? lol
as clean as possible. it's in any case much better than letting the country rotten little by little as the years go by.

Strawman? And you were the one accusing others of soundling like a leftist. JA!.....Socialism in Venezuela has not worked out the well. It is not as bad in other countries. Are you going to tell me capitalism has worked out great in Latin America? I can go to pretty much any countryin the region and find people living in dumps.......But it is not cool to point out the flaws in others because they are not socialist.

The way you view Venezuela is the same way many people viewed Colombia for a long time.

Again what you say about Venezeula is the same thing people said about Colombia just a couple decades ago.

There is a double standard among Latin Americans. It is ok to **** on leftist countries, but they are quite as a mouse about how ****ed up right wing countries are. They don't care about people suffering, it is all about ideaology with these people. The sad thing about it even right countries have much poverty and terrible inequality.

Maduro has the support of the high-ranking military benefited by Maduro, because that Chavistas are in the power yet. Chavez was a former military man.

If international army invade Venezuela their speech of imperialism will be legitimaze… Chavismo must fall by their own faults.

It was a mistake. Also, Dominican Republic voted overwhelmingly to join the US a century ago but was rejected by US congress

The US could have taken Cuba and Dominican Republic, compensated and relocated all non-whites to Central or South America (such as Colombia and Panama), and finally make Cuba, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic form a single powerful US state just like Hawaii

Maybe Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela can reach a deal such that areas of Venezuela with 3/4 of its population join Brazil while the remaining 1/4 join Colombia. Under this arrangement Brazil and Colombia will be able to lift Venezuelans and they can become more powerful countries

Lol let's keep the US white. Thank you for your free labour, sorry about cutting your Achilles tendons after you tried to run from oppression. Here's a few dollars now on your way to your third continent please, here are the ships, we've installed seats this time and replaced chains with seat belts.

God bless (US)America.

Liberia didn't work, you think this is even a point of discussion. Time to get out of your fantasy land.

I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic, or just trolling to rile things up.

But yeah, a lot of not-cool things in the U.S. history (missing from the history books).

Since u are in the UK, let me remind you that the US ensured that no war took place in Western Europe since world war 2 when the US achieved superpower status. Did the US do it with purely good intention? Likely not and the US probably had its own agenda, but it was able to succeed in maintaining peace and prosperity in Western Europe after centuries of conflicts in Western Europe. If you think the US was that bad then maybe you should study how screwed up the economies of Eastern Europe during the Cold War while being heavily subject to soviet influence.
