Why do we have to have all this hate?

By the way, a white supremacist doesn’t care if you’re Dominican or Haitian, they don’t see you as white.

And yes I do there are white Dominicans and a few whites in Haitians but I’m talking about nonwhites, which make up the majority of both countries.

who cares about what white people think, you are trapped in their racist echo camber, always concerned about their opinions.

you should not base you identity on whatever a guy living on a trailer could think of you. have some respect for your self.

Dude DR tourism is back at normal. actually IMF, CEPAL and World bank Just released their forecast for DR. DR will have the highest growth in latin America this year at 5.5 GDP growth. Possibly Passing Argentina in GDP_PPP purchasing power parity.

DR is also experiencing a huge drop in crime/murder rate. the rate went from 20.1 4 years ago
to 9.4 in 2019 and keeps falling.

so no, dont compare Haiti to DR. Haitians should try to emulate and tap on your neithgborg successes, but instead you want haiti to go the way of Venezuela? wtf man.....

I see you guy's keep spamming this how DR has the highest growth in LA. Learn about economics. Thats like saying Ethiopia has the highest economic growth in East Africa compared to Kenya and Tanzania. The two just have more room for growth. And like I said GDP is not a real measure of wealth. I searched and Argentina's GDP per capita is still well ahead of DR's. So what are you talking about? Haiti would have the fastest growing economy in Latin America if we were allowed to develop. Same with Cuba.

You guy's are still top 10 in the Caribbean while Haiti is not while you guys **** on Haiti whatever chances you get.

When did I say I want Haiti to go the way of Venezuela? Show me. No I said Haiti should continue friendly relations with Venezuela. I mean why not? Who's been giving Haiti money for DEVELOPMENT(not foreign aid) not DR. DR USA.
Haiti Using Funds from PetroCaribe to Finance Reconstruction
http://cepr.net/blogs/haiti-relief-a...reconstruction

And while Haiti has been going through a lot of **** the economy has been growing at a slow pace. Lastly no, we don't want to emulate "Dominican's success" because unlike Dominicans, Haitians don't want to a pawn of the West. And why do you guy's keep HYPING up the DR as super successful? While its not Haiti poor there a large gap in equality. Its not even the richest in the Caribbean. Many Dominicans are migrating to other islands like Haitians. Don't even get me started on Dominicans in Puerto Rico or Turk and Caicos. Screw DR why not emulate Bahamas success? or Barbados? Or Trinidad's(Haiti has minerals like gold not oil but gold)? Those countries are high on success but I'd start small by emulating success from African countries like Tanzania, Ghana, Ivory Coast(where a lot of Haitians descend from), or Senegal(another area where Haitians descend from).

Just admit it you guys don't know **** about Haiti which is why the only thing you guys can do is make up lies, call talk **** and place the blame on the average Haitian people who DON'T EVEN control the country.

Oh and PS: Why don't Dominican-American emulate Haitian-Americans in the USA? They fall behind ADOS people who are a larger population. I mean it is the land of opportunities am I right?

And the crazy thing and IRONY of all of this is that as someone who is part Haitian I am FINE with Dominicans deporting all the illegal Haitians flooding that side of the island. Heck build a wall if you have to. But the trolling and spreading lies about Haitians online won't be tolerated by certain Haitians.

I wouldn’t call it “hate”. Neighboring countries usually have a rivalry with each other. If you look around the world the same thing pops up. There is even a rivalry between some from the DR and PR.

I do find that when there is a strong gap between two societies, the society that is ahead feels that the other society brings them down while those from the other society will sometimes play into that fear. The other thing is that a country in Haiti’s shoes, which gets a lot of bad press by the CNN’s of the world, certain people with ties to that place simply had enough of hearing so much negative stuff from their land.

I think both sides should look where the other place is coming from. There is sort of tiredness of the same thing on one side and fear on the other side that in the end everything that has been done for their advancement in the end will be for nothing.

Its actually very easy to understand this. Then there are people that don’t have ties to either side and all they are doing is flare the flames even more when they should simply stay out of it.

One side feels they have been held down by others, the other side feels their whole society is going to be undone by the weight of the neighbor. That’s what this is really about.
