We are six students Nutrition and dietetics from The Hague University and we are currently studying obesity among children. Childhood obesity is a big problem in the United States of America. The obesity rate among children is 18,5% and is still increasing.
Our study is focused on children aged between 10 and 17 in the United States of America. Different stakeholders contribute to the increasing prevalence of obesity among children. The goal of our study is to test whether the different stakeholders are aware of the contributing factors of the development of childhood obesity.
For this study we are looking for people who are interested in reducing the prevalence of childhood obesity. Such as parents, people who work in de food industry, supermarkets, healthcare facilities, fast food branches, sports facilities, schools, and the government.
