Yeah unfortunately a lot of initiatives aren't sustainable. Many of them turn out to be nothing more than politician's gimmicks.

In the bigger cities I generally do prefer the estrato 3 places, like yourself. They're a lot more vibrant. "REal life" so to speak. But as time has gone on I find myself liking cities less and less and preferring small town mountain life more and more. I fricking hate driving anywhere in California any more - people, traffic.

No one is taking advantage of anyone. The US and Europe have prostitution too. It’s said to be the world’s oldest profession. If you have some other way for these women abd men to get buy, please work with them.

You’re part of the problem if your condemning business transactions without offering sex workers opportunities with more income.

It’s not like you have any intention of talking to sex workers about what they would need to live up socioeconomically.

Half the prostitutes are men.

These people are not loose. It’s just that prostitution pays a lot better than many ****ty, low paying jobs that they have available. Rock a clients world and you got a spouse that can get you American or European citizenship.
Melania gave it to Trump really good, and she is First Lady. Talk about sleeping your way to the top.

These prostitutes are not dumb and obviously know what they are doing. Playing the cards for a rich spouse to get them out of their situation. There maybe many failures, but there are many successes.

One of the easiest ways to get Western citizenship is marriage. Rock your clients world ladies and gentlemen!

I think some of the people here are jealous of foreign tourists who can pay or get married if they chose to?

The majority of prostitutes in the U.S. are drug addicts. So yes they are being taken advantage of due to their illness. The percentage of prostitutes who do it because they want to, is small.

In Spain prostitution is legal in brothels and technically no pimp. The same happens in many other countries. In almost all of the US prostitution is illegal in all its forms.

In fact, a few months ago I saw this documentary in Spain.

They are doing what they WANT to do. You´re hypocrite who does nothing to help sex workers find alternate income. They do this because they NEED the money.

If one has no money, one goes homeless and we certainly have a lot of that in the US, don´t we? In poor countries we have starvation and malnutrition.

And in the US itself, people do marry in part because of the money. Some of these prostitutes will get sugar daddies and spouses.

Spain is the second most visited country in the world, ahead of the US. So of course there are a lot of prostitutes here.

I travelled the world in my old job and the only place I felt threatened was in Peru. On the way from the airport to the hotel, the cabbie advised me to stay close to the floor - shining path was targeting Americans in taxis. We weren't attacked, but other cabs we passed were. At the hotel, we met our security team and traveled around the country in relative safety. On the train trip to Machu Picchu we were robbed - they got my cheapo watch and a few dollars.

Only other place I was accosted was right there in the good ole USofA - downtown Chicago after a dinner party at Gino and Georgetti's - where he got my wallet and passport. ID theft there still is rampant along with five murders.

There are a number of countries that I won't return to and several that I will after the socialists are booted out. I avoid large groups of any particular ethnicity - simply because......that goes for expats too.
