I don't see very much in this forum about Bolivia, but from what I've read and heard it seems like it has the most Native influenced national culture of any country in the western hemisphere, including in that an indigenous language seems to be the most widely spoken 1st language in the country. Am I right or is there another country where indigenous culture is more prevalent?

Guatemala. Bolivia and Peru, also seem to have a high Native influence.

I would second Paraguay as a possible contender to Bolivia.

In North America, I would say Guatemala. It's really Indigenous, feels like the old Mesoamerican civilization is still alive in Guatemala.

In South America, I would guess Bolivia.

I would say 75% of Guatemalans are pure Mayan, and about 60% are evangelical Christians. Very Few Catholics left and there is barely anything left of Mayan religion.

Apparently there are slightly more Guarani speakers than Spanish speakers in Paraguay , I hear Spanish loan words in this video.

Yeah, I didn't know about how indigenous Paraguay is. That makes it a strong contender with Bolivia. More Paraguayans speak Guarani than Spanish. In Bolivia, Spanish is spoken more than Indian languages. And while Paraguay has a single indigenous language that's dominant, Bolivia splits between Quechua and Aymara. Bolivia has the highest percentage of Indians in its population though.

In North America, looks like Guatemala is the most culturally Native.
