You know what. Being canadian and lived in the states is too experienced racism because I was canadian BUT. Some places were alright, some people were alright. No matter where you go in the USA, Canada, Australia, uk, anywhere, there will always be positives and negatives. There will be douchebags in New York, there will be douchebags in germany, there will be nice people in New York and Germany alike. It is all chance who you meet and how they are, yes there is some factors that influence the type of people you meet the environment your subject to, but in general its always random. You may go to montreal and love it because the hotel was nice, the bar you went to had nice french people. But what if you went another night to that same bar when a French man lost his job that day and behaved aggressively toward you for no reason; you'd say you hated montreal. Everything is random. The only way to get a real "who is better" is to live there yourself and experience it for yourself. Everyone's experience will be different. Some things like crime will have a level of intensity in a country but it also depends where in the country. So to finish it off. Who's better is un determinable because who's better depends on your personal experience. Ya canada has no guns and lower crime (in general), but ↑ taxes up the wazoo and a decreased sense of patriotism. Likewise in the USA there's pros and cons. To fully know is to experience it firsthand and understand the context in which you experienced the location, the people, etc.
The US beats Canada in almost EVERY SINGLE WAY I can think of.
This comparison is ridiculous. Climate alone makes me want to get the heck out of Canada. This could be the most progressive place on earth (obviously won't ever happen), but the weather still makes me want out.
I'd rather be homeless in san diego than rich in Vancouver, actually if I were rich in Vancouver I'd just move to san diego or san francisco/bay area anyways.
Leaving Canada is easy and nobody will stop you, you are free to leave. It's not like North Korea, nobody is holding you prisoner and you don't need permission from Canada to leave the country. If no other country will accept you that isn't Canada's fault, it just means you don't meet other countries' standards of acceptance. You are the only person who can make the necessary changes to be acceptable somewhere else. If you're so miserable being in Canada then do what needs to be done to make yourself more acceptable somewhere else and then just say adios and leave. Complaining all the time about Canada and the weather like you've been doing in all your posts here on the forum will get you nowhere and nobody likes a chronic complainer about things that can't be changed so don't expect sympathy. Just remember that when you finally escape from Canada which you hate so much when you get to your new country if you want to make friends and be accepted say positive things about the new country and don't complain about the reasons why you left Canada because nobody likes a chronic complainer about petty stuff.
I would say neither because I despise cold weather, but since I am Canadian born and bred, my vote is for Canada for education, life quality, atmosphere, scenery. U.S. has its good points but it is changing in many negative ways. I live in U.S.A. and have witnessed the changes. U.S.A has California and Florida which Canadians love to visit because...well we have no warm spots
