Colombia (places, train)

Hello all, I'm a 24 yr old gay male going to Bogota, Colombia May 16th to the 24th 2009. I'm going with two friends the same age (one M and one F). Any suggestions where to go, what to do, conversely, what not to do and where not to go! Any suggestions on places to stay would also be helpful! Any heads up on anything at all would be great too!

Girardot is a lovely place. There used to be a train going down there, but I think it has been discontinued. It is about 2 hours by bus, and worth the trip. It's a small town, but plenty lf amenities, so you might want to stay there more than a day.

go to Plaza de Bolivar.. .can't miss that.

also eat at Pasquera Jaramillo... excellent restaurant located by a public park. Try the ceviche and grilled seafoods.
