Having read online what the town's like, I would like to know more practical information.
Has anyone been to Urubamba, or the area, or Peru itself?
What is the town like -- safety, perception of foreigners, inhabitants, and so on?
I plan to be there for two weeks while doing a service project.
It is an organized trip through the school.
I speak Spanish, but I am aware Quechua is probably more popular there.
