News, Major Earthquake in Haiti; Damage in Port-au-Prince.

I knew Friday was a telethon to raise money for the Haiti relief but had heard somewhere that there was one slated for Sunday, but don't recall which Sunday or if they changed the days around. Anyone else hear the same thing? Could there really be an additional telethon or was it some kind of scheduling snafu?

Why did the US allow their planes first? It was critical to get more space and fast before anything they did have a few days before dehydration set it. Actually in Haiti the best medical services after the earthquake (within 72 hours)were set up by the Israeli team that set up a fully functional field hospital with operating rooms and modern equipment/machines:

Cuba is still helping in Haiti too, as well as Brazil.
