My mother just got off the phone with family in Hawaii and they are in the process of evacuating. I just tried calling my cousin in Hawaii and his phone is disconnected there....Holy Cow--this is frightening!!

I'm watching the msnbc live feed from Hawaii. I hope they are preparing for nothing.
My thoughts with those in Japan who were affected by yesterdays earthquake, and G'd Bless all those affected in Chile today.

Though they have much damage, and loss of life, nothing on the scale of Haiti; they are vary familiar with earthquakes, so their infrastructure was bette built.

Still, any loss of life is sad.... prayers to the people of Chile. Also, at about 15:00 EST, the first wave is expected to hit Hawaii, I'm tuning in to watch, if anything happens at all. Good luck to those people as well.

I don't think it's gonna end then. It's definitely not gonna end on a date that WE came up with. Think about it. But I DO feel like maybe we are in the end times and nations are gonna fall very soon. This is absolutely crazy.

So true. Haiti and Chile are both earthquake prone areas.

Thoughts and prayers go out to the people affected by this tragedy.

I totally agree but it's interesting that it seems like its happening more often lately: Haiti, Chicago area, Japan, Chile, etc.

They said it was the 4th strongest earthquake in recorded history

My heart goes out to Chile and the areas that are gonna get hit with the tsunami.
