Will all of the crap stemming from this thread, my opinion on Alaska has changed dramatically. I haven't even read the posts past page 3, this is absolutley rediculous.

This is the last time I bring up any sort of question like this. I just thought an open message board like this wouldn't give me issues, but I'm not surprised. Most of America has an skewed view like a lot of the posters in this thread, especially towards my original question.. and to whoever gave me bad reputation points because they felt my original post was offensive? PLEASE. There's no reason this thread should have stemmed for as long as it has. Most of you should be ashamed of yourself.

You might want to take into consideration, concerning your opinion of Alaska, that the people making negative comments about your posts are from the lowerr 48.

You can contact a mod about the neg. points and get them removed if the mod agrees that they are unwarranted. And I gave you some points just now because I agree that the neg. points someone gave you were silly and uncalled for, as well as against the policy of this board.

People are people no matter where you live. You will get some looks from certain people. So what.

Of greater importance, is the nice people you will meet who judge you on your personality and character as an individual. They will get past the color thing quickly. They will either like you or not based on your actions.

These people tend not to follow political correctness. They follow common courtesy. They treat people as individuals. They don't worry about using terms like "black" or "African American" or "Negro". Their choice of words was never meant to harm.

The other side of the coin features the Political Correctness types. These people like to scan every word for some perceived slight or injustice. They claim to be "educated". Actually, they are quite educated in destroying free speech for the rest of us. Often times, these same self-appointed "experts" have no clue on how real racial advancement takes place. It certainly doesn't happen with a muzzle on free speech or creating double standards based on race.

These same types of people are the group puppets. They don't treat people as individuals at all. They are the masters of holding people down based on their skin color or gender or whatever. It's called control. And if anyone is ever guilty of stereotyping people it is them. They hate individualists with a passion. They don't want any of their captive flock to stray. There must ALWAYS be victims and oppressors in their Group World mind.

So for the original poster, go for it! Alaska in loaded with libertarian-type individualists. They don't buy into this Nanny State PC crap. They will like you or not like you based on YOU!
