Me and my wife are wanting to relocate to Alaska, I have been in the autobody industry for over twenty years and looking for employment as a estimator for a body shop. We have been told that business owners in Alaska will pay for relocation for jobs like this, is this true? Please any help would be great.

As a general they will NOT pay for relocations. Have you called any of the body shops to see if they have openings?

Call these guys Monday.

You might want to try Fairbanks, Alaska. Walmart store has auto body shop that has lots of individuals working each day...

Darn, I was hoping you were going to say you did body work yourself. We need a new body shop around here pretty badly.

I just cannot see an auto body shop paying $10,000+ to relocate a family here.
