Background Info: I am looking to continue my education while in Anchorage and it seems that UAA is the only game in town. I am currently in an Information Security program at a Technical College that I was hoping to finish up before I had to change bases. Unfortunately, that is not the case, so I am considering starting a Computer Science BS at UAA as there is no direct correlation between my current program and anything they have at UAA. I completed my AAS in Munitions Systems, but I expect to be starting from scratch at UAA once they evaluate my transfer credits. I completed my CCAF with CLEP/DSSTand then moved on to the Technical College (tested out of Introduction to Computing DSST) and took Computer Concepts, Info Sec Fundamentals, Networking Fundamentals, and Hardware Installation and Maintenance)
Questions: Have any of you transferred CLEP/DSST credits to UAA? Have any of you ever been through or have some other type of experience with the program? Did you like it? Would you do it again? Is there anything else you could add that I may not have asked about?
