Smile The Anchorage Skyline

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about two proposed towers in Anchorage: the Augustine Energy Center, and 605 West Fifth.

I personally love Anchorage's skyline. It isn't as tall as New York City's, but it doesn't need to be since it has the mountains behind it. I can't get over how beautiful this photo is: http://www.greene.k12.ia.us/wpdevelo...ska/alaska.jpg

Is anyone aware of the status of those two buildings, or of any others? According to Emporis, those two are still proposed but they'd be tall enough to alter the skyline. 605 West Fifth would actually be the 2nd tallest tower in Alaska if it was completed.

Thanks for any info!

oh gee we're sorry.if u don.t like it well we won't do it then.so don't lie awake at night worrying about it .we've put it all on hold.i think a moose lives right there somewhere and that whole block has become a wildlife refuge.no drilling, hunting, fishing.
